RECLAMATION AND DREDGING WORKS AT TUAS VIEW AND JURONG ISLAND Country: Singapore The Tuas View Reclamation Project was JURONG International's first reclamation project, and we have since accumulated more than 25 years' experience. Completed in phases from 1984 to 1999, the project created some 1,022 hectares of land. The Tuas View extension Project, which began in 2000, will add another 1,908 hectares of land when completed in 2008. In 1995, we undertook the project to amalgamate 7 islands of less than 1,000 hectares of existing land area to form the 3,200-hectare Jurong Island. The island is now widely recognized as the premier Petrochemical Hub. These and many other projects have demonstrated our expertise in the master planning, engineering design and project implementation of mega-scale reclamation works.
