"The existing Berth J12 and Berth J25 at Jurong Port are proposed to be extended to cater for larger and more vessels, i.e. 35,000 DWT and 50,000 DWT respectively. Berth J12 is extended 75m from 275m to 350 m while Berth J25 is extended 110m from 202m to 312m. The extended berth structure consist of RC precast planks with cast-in-situ topping seated on RC precast beams which are supported by RC spun piles. J12 Unique Feature: A 8mx8m RC mooring dolphin is proposed to facilitate the berthing of 35,000 DWT vessel to the extended Berth J12. There will also be a new 25m span steel walkway linking the extended Berth J12 and the new mooring dolphin."
