The proposed RTA Headquarters pioneers a new architectural style. Special facilities will be implemented to create the impression that the building is floating on water. The structure has been adapted from the RTA logo and consists of 22 storey including 19 floors and 3 basement levels for parking. It will be situated on a plot of land with an area of 11,833m2. It will house a large auditorium to govern and control all the traffic movements in Dubai and it will be the first of its kind in the Middle East in terms of size and the level of technology used. The fronts of the building will be fitted with giant screens of 20 storeys to transfer guideline messages to drivers, even at a distance. JURONG International was selected to implement the design and supervision of the construction of this iconic structure.
