Conceptual Master Plan (268 sqkm) Detailed Control Plan (15 sqkm) Urban Design (4 sqkm). Huayuankou Economic Zone is located 115km northeast to the city of Dalian. The master plan covers an area of 268 sqkm. The objective of the plan is to develop Huayuankou into a medium size coastal city with population of 650k, supported by major industries including electronics, new materials, automobile parts, manufacturing, etc. The plan focuses on the environmental issues to make Huayuankou a work, Iive and play environment. The natural environment and built up area are well integrated in the master plan, to be shown as a unique picture of ‘Mountain – City – Rivers – Lakes - Island - Sea’
