This Facilities Management contract involves Singapore Airlines’s Airline House where it houses SIA’s administrative staffs, SIA Engineering Company’s six hangers where it provides repair, overhaul and routine maintenance to aircrafts as well as ground operations for airlines at Changi Airport, and SIA and Silkair’s leased premises in Changi Airport Terminal Buidlings for their customers and aircrew. SMM’s role as the Custodian Contractor is to provide comprehensive maintenance for the building, air-con and mechanical ventilation system, mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection system, public address and sound system, kitchen equipment, water features, pest control, waste disposal and external landscape. There is a 24/7 operation centre to monitor the functions of critical equipment/system and to response to faults reported and emergencies.
