This is a 27 storey office building that houses the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources staff and also the statutory bodies such as NEA and PUB. SMM’s role as the Managing Agent is to look after the building and its associated facilities to ensure that they are well maintained and safe for use. It covers the supervision of contractors providing cleaning and conservancy, ground care, horticulture, pest control, maintenance of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. Regular inspections for health, safety and statutory requirements are also conducted, as well as fire drills. In addition, the MA is to provide consultancy for additions, alterations, repairs and redecoration works required by the owner.
