JURONG Consultants was appointed as the conceptual masterplanner for the start-up area of Tianjin Eco-City. This start-up area is the Tianjin Eco-City Business Park that has an area of 300,000 sqm.

This Tianjin Eco City Business Park will be the preferred base for eco-companies to situate themselves and at the same time encompassing a catchment for Northern China and beyond.

The masterplan's major features include land optimization resulting in efficient planning of circulation system to minimize walking distance, promotion of of green transportion by integrating public transport with the urban fabric and utilisation of renewable energy such as solar energy (eg. PV panels), wind energy (wind turbines) and geo-thermal energy.

The Business Park will also be the area where the Landmark Building as well as Ready Built Offices (RBO) are situated in and of which JURONG Consultants are also providing architectural servcies for.
