RAJIV GEMS PARK, located at Kancha Imarat, in a Special Economic Zone at Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh, was developed by Hyderabad Gems Sez Ltd, with a full development area of 200 acres. The project site is located 3km from the proposed International Airport and about 20km from the city. The site is proposed to be developed as an SEZ project and designated a Gems and Jewellery park, targeting the Diamonds, Gems & Jewellery Industry with future plans for the ITES, leather, and entertainment industries. A unique feature of the project is the central plaza with a diamond-shaped huge sculpture. The project also utilized materials such as steel, concrete, glass, and plaster to create naturally-inspired forms at the entrance for a translucent greenhouse structure. The developer plans to construct the state-of-the-art building as a ‘Green Building’ in Hyderabad, with intention to apply for the Green Building rating, awarded by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).
