JURONG International was recently awarded the Distinguished Defence Partner Award and the Community Chest SHARE Gold Award for its commitment towards both Total Defence and social services respectively.
Having received the Meritorious Defence Partner Award for the past 4 years, it was indeed an honour this year that we were one of the 101 companies to be awarded the Distinguished Defence Partner Award for our support towards Total Defence. JURONG International has more than 120 NSmen in our midst!
And in recognition of our staff's generosity through regular contributions to the SHARE (Social Help and Assistance Raised by Employees) programme, we were presented the Gold Award at a ceremony held at Marina Mandarin. Through regular donations, Community Chest is able to fund social service programmes to help 310,000 beneficiaries.
CSR is very much a part of how we conduct business and we have also supported adopted charities since 2002. JURONG International is proud to be a member of the Singapore Compact.
