JURONG Consultants Secures Fujairah Oil & Gas Project

JURONG Consultants was recently awarded the overall project management consultancy contract for GPS Chemoil’s Phase IV Oil Storage Terminals construction in Fujairah.

The terminal consists of 21 atmospheric tanks for storage of Fuel Oil, Gas Oil and Jet Fuel, and is equipped with loading pumps for loading operations. The terminal is designed for loading and discharging petroleum product to/from tankers and barges.

JURONG Consultants’ role includes overall project management, detailed design review, construction management, procurement management, QA/QC, HSE management and assistance in commissioning.
 

Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee Appoints JURONG Consultants For Urban Design Services

A Co-operation Agreement was signed between the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee and JURONG Consultants on 16 Nov, commissioning the company to provide conceptual urban design consulting services to 80sqkm of land within the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area.

As one of the three state-level special economic development zones, the total area available for master planning constitutes 238sqkm of land space and is expected to play a greater role in advancing the development of Chongqing and western regions.

JURONG Consultants aims to help transform the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area into a modern, vibrant and sustainable city, a model-city in the western region of China.

 

JURONG Consultants One of Top Five International Finalists!


JURONG Consultants has proven itself to be of international repute when its master planning team successfully went through two rounds of selection for the design competition of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre.

A total of 27 international firms were initially invited to submit entries for the Centre, which is a township modelled after Silicon Valley, situated at the outskirts of Moscow.

Ten contenders were shortlisted in the first round, thereafter five were selected to participate in the final competition. JURONG Consultants, as the only Asian company, will compete with an American and three European design companies in the master planning of the entire township. The winner will be announced in mid-December 2010 and will be awarded the contract for the master plan of the Skolkovo Innovation Centre.
 

JURONG Consultants (India) Awarded Residential Township Project

JURONG Consultants (India) recently secured a residential township master plan project in Bangalore. The client is the Pragathi Group and the scope includes master planning, infrastructure design, and architecture for the 20-acre township.

Phase 1 will see the master plan design for villas and town homes while Phase 2 will cover residential apartments.

 

JURONG International Hosts Panama President

The President of Panama, Mr Ricardo Martinelli Berrocal, visited Fusionopolis as part of his 3-day visit to Singapore at the invitation of President S R Nathan. He was hosted by Group President & CEO, Mr Tang Tat Kwong, who briefed him on JURONG International’s core capabilities as well as our plans to make further inroads in Latin America, particularly Panama.

The Presidential entourage was later taken on a tour of Fusionopolis, an infocomm and media hub, for which JURONG International was the main Consultant.

JURONG International is currently working on the Master Plan of the Panama Refinery & Petrochemical Park which is envisioned to be a world-class Energy Hub with a comprehensive range of refineries, petrochemical plants, storage terminals, marine and support facilities.
 
 
 

JURONG International’s Annual Charity Golf

With the support of corporate and individual sponsors, the 8th JURONG International Charity Golf was once again a hit with 144 golfers, some of whom have been ardent fans since the first event in 2002!

Held in end-November at the Raffles Country Club, generous sponsors took up all 36 available flights, raising funds for adopted charity, Melrose Children’s Home. The final amount will only be decided once all fund-raising activities cease by the end of the financial year.

Management and staff would like to extend our gratitude to all who have supported the event, every dollar counts towards improving the lives of these underprivileged children.
