JURONG Consultants Secures 3 Major Building Projects in Singapore!

Kudos to JURONG Consultants’ building business for securing 3 major building projects in Singapore within the very short time frame of one month!

JURONG Consultants won a consulting project from HDB to provide multi-disciplinary consultancy services for a multi-storey motor repair complex in Sin Ming. The new 8-storey building will sit on 2.1 ha with a built-up GFA of 52,500 sqm. Existing single-storey workshops in Sin Ming will be relocated into this new complex.

The second project was the appointment by JTC Corp to provide Stage 1 (Investigation, Preliminary Design and Estimates) consultancy services for a Medical Technology Hub Building at Tukang Innovation Grove. The new building will have a total GFA of 50,000 sqm when built.

Hot off the press, JURONG Consultants clinched the consulting tender for Cleantech 2 by emerging as the winner for the design competition organised by JTC Corp. Innovative sustainable design features for Cleantech 2 as mooted by JURONG Consultant’s design team included 50% space with day lighting, 50% less heat as compared to BCA’s Green Mark Buildings Platinum requirement and a fully naturally- ventilated car park.

JURONG Consultants Secures NTU Life Science Lab Fit-out Project

Making further in-roads into the life science business and further strengthening its portfolio, JURONG Consultants secured a contract to provide consultancy services (Architectural, Laboratory, Mechanical & Electrical, Civil & Structural and Quantity Surveying) for the outfitting of a specialized lab at Cleantech 1 for NTU. The project involves fitting-out works for the life science lab and office which will occupy a total area of 8,000 sqm.

JURONG Primewide Wins Safety and Health Award Recognition

JURONG Primewide received the Safety and Health Award Recognition (SHARP Award) for the NEWater Infrastructure Project from the Ministry of Manpower and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council recently.

Winning the SHARP Award is a clear demonstration of JURONG Primewide’s total commitment to Safety and Health. The award is a testament of JURONG Primewide’s strong safety culture and safety standards which is already well recognized by its clients.

BCA Green Mark for Buildings Awards

At the recently announced BCA Green Mark for Buildings Award, 2 of JURONG Consultants’ projects were among the winners.

The Campus for Research Excellence and Technological - CREATE, for which JURONG Consultants was the Project Manager, clinched the Green Mark Platinum Award for the New Non-Residential Buildings category.

For Biopolis 3, both JURONG Primewide (Main Contractor) and JURONG Consultants (Architect and M&E Engineer), achieved the Green Mark Gold Award for the same category.
